Pretty in Pink

Last night we painted pretty little fingers and toes a perfectly pink color. Big Sister has recently decided she's a "daddy's girl" and asked him to paint her nails first. I heard him from the kitchen telling her, "I don't know how to paint nails. Daddys don't paint nails." She settled for Mama's handiwork. Immediately after painting Big Sister's toes, Little Sister ran a stuffed animal down her leg and wiped the polish off her right foot. This was Little Sister's first time for a pedicure and manicure as she tends to not be able to sit still very long. I had to work quickly and even got the hair dryer on them to ensure they were dry before setting her loose. In the end, both girls were pleased. Big Sister said she couldn't wait to show everyone in her class her fingers and toes. (I'm sure they'll be ecstatic) I encouraged her to just stick with the fingers and not whip off her shoes and socks.
